Most detailed double DIN "how to"/DIY install ??
I'm going to (attempt to) install a Kenwood DNX8120 hopefully this coming weekend... if it arrives this week, which it should.
I've seen a couple DIY & "how to" threads on here, but I am looking for some VERY detailed, step-by-step info.... starting from the opening of the car door.
I'm not a total noob, but I've never actually removed/installed any car audio equipment myself.
Most of my concern is just getting all the stuff around the stereo removed. Once I'm in there, I think I'll be able to figure it out....maybe.
If anyone knows of something that would be super-duper helpful, please post a link here for me (and all other install noobs)!!
Thanksssssss

Are you from this area?
Maybe so.... I just got my tC about 6 months ago and am finally starting to do some stuff to it.
PM me any info/links you have on those 2...
I don't want to derail the thread too much...
I need a good DIY double DIN install guide! Something!
I'm sure I could figure it all out, but I'd like to feel at least somewhat prepared.

That thread goes through the complete disassembly of the car. That should give you the information you need on tearing out parts. For information on connecting all the components, I'd probably recommend browsing Crutchfield.com, their install guides are pretty comprehensive.
