Default Is my amp dead?

Okay so I stereo bumping the other day and all of the sudden this weird distorted noise came from the subs and the 40 amp fuse blew. So then I went and got another fuse and put it in and when I turned the radio back on, instantly the fuse blew again.. what could be the problem?

sounds like a bad ground,
where did you ground your amp?
how did you run the wires?
what is the set up?
what gauge wires?
just check your work
make sure all your connections are good.

Well I check all the connections......from the battery and the ground (installed by cartoys) and then the connections to the amps and they are fine.....but it still blew another fuse? Could the hot be niched somewhere from the batter to the amp?

You mean like disconnect the subwoofers from the amp and then turning it on?

Okay, I'll have to go buy some more fuses then. What should I do if the problem is the sub? Can I return it and get another or is that just my fault and I will have to buy a new one?

Try to get it returned... defective sub is hard to get your money back, but still try if thats the problem.
