My Electronic components is messed up..
Could anyone help me? Before i installed the new 2 Din head unit, when i turn off the car all the electronics would turn off.. when i installed the head unit my friend suggested i un hook the battery so i did, i kno that reboots everything. now when i turn off my car everything stays on. How do i fix that?!?! Plz Sum1 help im goin ballistic and hoping the stock clock doesnt drain the battery...
Yikes! What's "everything" that stays on? I've disconnected my battery countless times, and haven't had anything like this happen. Have you checked the wires are all connected correctly? Have you referred to the owners manual about possible resetting of these items? I know the windows needed to be reprogrammed...
What year tC do you have? Is this the only thing that's changed?

EVERYTHING meaning my radar and head unit, i have the key out n the head unit n radar is still on..
i disconnected my battery just once, key is not plugged in the radar n head unit is on... its not supposed to, when the key isnt plugged in everythin must be off...

it shouldn;t, reading the power and such correctly, it should be turned off when the key is disconnected, but I could be wrong, it's friday night and I'n ma little under the alcohol, but I'll check in the morning
i ran the power just like the stock unit, got a harness that fits on the new unit to connect to the stock harness, thats it.. its not just the head unit that wont turn off when i dont have my key in, my radar wouldn't turn off either..
yea, i would just start all over again and see if you guys screwed up somewhere.... and i would check the fuses just in case... you never know!
theres fuses under the dash by the pedals, and one box of fuses under the hood near the intake and battery.
good luck!
