aha! the yellow wire is for constant power, like when the dome light than can stay on all the time, red is for a switched 12volts power that stays on when the engine is on like the cig lighter, if u crossed them then when engine is off, the yellow wire is giving power to everything... correct me if im wrong but that the way i remembered it.. So did you find the out where is the prob?

No. The stereo needs the constant yellow for memory (and also uses this while the ACC/red is switched on). BOTH the red and yellow need to be properly connected...

The yellow wire has 12V+ on it all the time. When you tied that to the red wire (switched 12+V), you've bypassed the key/switch. This effectively puts 12V everywhere - making all your accessories work - despite key position.

By properly wiring them (not tie the red/yellow together), your accessories will work when the key is on, and stop when the key is in the off position/removed. Whomever told you to do that - ignore any further advice from them.

The Yellow is constant 12V
The Red is switched 12V by the key position

DO NOT TIE THOSE TOGETHER!

There should be a yellow...
You're not using a plug-and-play harness like this are you...

There maybe some harness with different color codes, if thats the case, you'll have to find out which wire is the constant 12volt and the switched/accessory 12volt power

Strange, what brand is your deck?
Most use standard colors, only exception I can think of is really really old Pioneer. For those old ones, the thicker orange with a fuse is the 12v constant if I remember right..
