I just got my first of two SVR Car Audio batterries to go in the back to help power the amp. At lunch im taking my car back to our showroom to see if our dual 12" enclosure will fit ok in the back otherwise i'm going to do a fiberglass enclosure and tub the spare tire well. I just need to sell my old car and i can order all my equipment.

either way it will have fiberglass in it. if i use our Sledgehammer enclosure then i'm going to glass around it to make it conform to the vehicle more and have the front of it match painted to the vehicle.

 

well i checked it and the hatch won't close all the way with the enclosure so it's time to start designing with glass.

What dimensions do you need? I have a 3D model of the hatch on my computer that I made before embarking on my little journey.

 

I just got my amps today at work, I ordered an MTX TA7801 and TA7804. The mono block is rated at 800 watts but tested at 1050 watts at 2 ohms, the 4 channel 7804 tested at 25% more ouptut than posted.

I should be getting my component speakers and subwoofer i have on order sometime next week and will be starting my install next weekend staring with my alarm that I picked up last weekend.

It's taken this long for me to sell my old Chevy Beretta and only get a little more than half what i was originally asking for.

Hey Mandos, what format do you have that 3D model in for the hatch area?

 

I can export as a .dxf or .skp

 

I'm sorry i don't know what either of those file types are. Is there anyway you can make an image of it that shows different views along with measurements......kind of like what you would see in an engineering dept or something. I don't have any 3D software, i tried taking MAYA in college and failed, i couldn't grasp it at all.

 

Saturday I got my alarm installed and after next weekend when i add all the modules for the for the windows, sunroof, and remote start it the alarm install will be complete. Box production should also be started next weekend as well.
