Default Nav system install questions

Hey, I just ordered a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 with the iPod and XM NavTraffic adapters and had a few questions about the install:

1. Where should I mount the GPS antenna? I prefer inside the car if possible, but keep in mind I'll have an XM antenna also, can they be positioned right next to each other?

2. The unit requires that I tap into the speed and parking break circuits so it knows how fast i'm going I guess. Any idea where to find these wires?

I think I'm set other than that, done a few head unit installs before, nothing tricky.

1. I mounted mine inside the car, on the right corner of the dash.

2. They should be right under the glove box.

No problem post some pics when you're done.

I checked out that link a little more...I can't really tell where the speed wire is...it says its pin 14 on the HVAC connector...is that accurate? Also, which is pin 14? I'm assuming you just count from the top left until you get to #14...
