Default Need help choosing my HU

So I'm in a situation. I'm kinda wanting a new HU and my friend is trying to sell me one for cheap. The only thing stopping me is the possible inability to close my waterfall door and lose my steering wheel controls. I know i can get the PAC-SWI to take care of the SW controls. But my door closing is another thing. He has a Kenwood DDX-7019 that im goin to be getting for $250 still in the box. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DDX7...ddx+7019&tp=75 I guess what im wondering is. Is it a good deal, will my waterfall door still close, and is the PAC-SWI easy to install. Thanks. Also any reviews / personal experiences with the HU itself would help alot.

drill brackets to have the headunit sit further back..
it'll solve your door issue.

I just did this when I did my install a few days ago. It is so easy and works well. Make sure you buy the Metra 95-8202 dash kit, it will fill in the sides next to the double din unit. $20 + tax at best buy.

if it works buy it,just get the metra kit and set it back in the dash about 1/4" on the mounting kit and you are good to go,have to do same thing with AVIC.

Ok. One last thing i forgot. The way that the CD player opens up to allow you to put cd's in will be fine correct, it sorta slides out and down at an angle.
