I was just wondering... iv been lookin in the engine bay underneath the stock battery but... is there anyone who has tried stacking 2 batteries in there? idk if there is enough room or if u can even do it to run 2 batteries but it looks possible.

i don't think anyone would try that, because it would make the car Really unbalance.
People rather place the batteries in the trunk.

Second of all, as GammaTNT said, mostly batteries are placed in the trunk.

I was only wondering. I figured it would save space in our small little hatches and be more efficient for running multiple amps... just a thought but idk....

i dont think you would ever need two batteries for a system u can run 2 L 7's with like 2500 watts which is rediclous and not need a batter.

 

Oh... One of my buddys had a kia spectra with the zx2500.1 on 2 L7 12s and he ran two batteries... his was in the trunk too haha

 

you need mutliple batteries if you plan on running your system with the car car off

if you run it with the system on the alternator is charging the car. The battery is helping but not to much.

Id say get a bigger alt before you start looking at 2/3 batteries
