Default Need help on choosing a navi hu

I'm looking to purchase a navigation head unit and I have narrowed it down to either the Kenwood DNX7100 or the Eclipse AVN5510. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I Know it's not one of your two choices mentioned but I would check out the Panasonic CN-NVD905U Strada. I purchased the unit and I am very pleased. It's on sale at Amazon for $599 with free super saver shipping. That's a steal for any Hard drive based navigation. Check out the review on Cnet.

Eclipse avn 5510 ftw! Superior sound quality + plug and play steering wheel controls cant go wrong. Gps feature lacks slightly compared to competetors but is just fine in my opinion.

After having a garmin c340, I would say that EVERY in dash unit lacks in the NAV area... Garmin just has it down right. Plus the SNS really sucks when it comes to POI - they don't know 1/3 the stuff around here... I'm very disappointed with this so far....

Which is why the Kendwood DNX7100 kicks butt... it uses Garmin navi software and map updates!
