i successfully installed my girls spoiler on her car, but need help with the wire tapping. usually i'd know what to do, if theres a black and red wire, but this is a little more confusing. i dont know if this qualifies as ICE, but if you can help, please do. can someone identify which one is GROUND, and which is POWER? i tried to tap the red wire thinking it was power, and one of the black/white thinking it was ground, but nothing. the pic is slightly blurry, but can be discerned. this is the main brake light. im trying to tap into it for the spoiler brake light. thanks in advance.

that's what i initially thought, because those two are the only wires running straight through rather than jump from the lamp or coming in. i tried it, but stupid wire taps dont break the covering...i'll try again tomorrow.

 

you are talking the covering over the wire???

If so heat it up with a lighter and you can peel the covering off.
