OK I have the NINe.5 to power up the speakers

SQ10 for the sub
6000s.v2 for the front stage
for the back seat I am wonder ing what will work better.......another set of 6000s or a 6.5 sub mounted into the spot........there will be plenty of sound deadening in the space, but it will not be sealed.......so I wonder if it will sound ok or not........

what do you think...........and if the 6.5 sub will work what brand........it will need to take 100w a side.

why not a 7kv.2 back there? not too sure on how it will sound but my other vote will be to leave the rears stock and beef up the fronts more. You got 1 BIG amp and seems like your not using much. i would drop the eDi 6000s v.2 and throw some DLS components up front......?

I also thought about going with the DLS in the fronts as well and going stock or at least up grade to the 6000s in the rear minus the amp...........not super worried about price.........as I have 2 months to get it all together which gives me 8 paychecks.......

the amp has 175w a side when bridged.........x2

100 per channel not bridged..........x4

it also will do a bridged channel @ 175w and 2 normal channels @ 100w plus the sub.......

Pretty flexable amp.........

very flexable, i would go with the DLS. i think you'll get more out of the system with them. Im sure they'll sound damn nice too!

For a sound quality system, rear speakers are NOT used. Think about it...does your home stereo, or concert have rear speakers working while playing music? NO! The more musical energy coming from in front of you, the better. However, if you want to get loud, or use a 4.1/5.1 system in the future, a pair of coaxial speakers will suffice.

The rear speaker mounting in the tC are terrible because there's NO division between the front and rear of the sound-waves generated by the speakers. There's also no great way to construct a baffle as the arm rest takes up the space...pull the panel and you'll see what I mean.

There's a few options you have with the 5 channel amplifier. You could bridge the front and rear to provide a ton of head-room to the front components. Another option is to bi-amplify them - using a pair of channels for the tweeters, and another pair for the mids. This will allow you to time align all the drivers for a much better sound-stage.

2x350 means one side is getting 350w and the other side is getting 350.

So looks like I will need to build a front stage.........2x350 might be a bit too much power so I think I will go 1 channel for mids and one for tweeter and put 100w to eachand jsut replce my back speakers withthe 6000s and run them off the deck since I have them already......

So good front stage speakers I am now looking for........man this is kinda tough...............I do appreciate all the help with this...........last time I built a stereo was in 1995........LOL

What's the rest of your system -equipment wise? Who's installing it? What's the installer's skill level? Who's tuning the system once installed?

I wouldn't be too worried about "too much power". Only go active IF you can control the speakers!

I will be doing the D3 for a head unit.........

I will be installing.........I have printed up all the info on how to install the controller for the bluetooth, steering wheel controls, ipod adaptor and back up camera......and how to disable the DVD lockout

I downloaded the tones from ED already to disk and burned them into a loop that lasts for about 45 minutes........

I got help from Lil Will on what to do with the tones, and I know how to use a voltmeter so I am good there..........

I am jsut not real wealthy and like to know what is working for others before I go buy something and find out it is junk..........
