Default Need quick help - Interior lighting

Ok, so when installing my short shifter a week or so ago I had to disconnect some wires to get all the console pieces out. Anyway, long story short, I have the Scion installed front lights and tapped all my lights off those lines (which I thought were cig lines but they aren't - just a white and black wire in the center console). Anyway, I thought I redid the lines but then my lights weren't working so I just assumed I'd left something disconnected. Well, I took the two ends of the white wire and hooked them up to a circuit checker and touched a ground (even flipped the switch) and it never lit up. Checked it on the battery... yup, light still works.

Did I blow a fuse? I checked and didn't see one blown not that I know which fuse would be for the interior lights.

Thanks guys.

the factory interior lights have their own inline fuse.

follow the wire.

Ok, I followed them back from the point I used near the shifter and from each light and I didn't see one... any idea where they generally would leave it? And I want to make sure we think it's the fuse... when I hooked it all back up the first time one LED actually worked (front left air vent) but then later that day none of it worked... where do the factory wires get the power from?

Ok, so I took the wires out of the switch and took the white POWER wire from the factory lights and simply grounded it to a point I know how to use and there was nothing... so either the inline fuse is out (but I can't find it ) or something came lose... agh.
