Default need some help with my system setup

so i was thinking that my bazooka sub does absolutely nothing since i have an amp powering the speakers. what i was thinking was to swap out the sub with an alpinew type s like someone did on the forums. but i dont have enough space with my amp right now... so i was thinking should i mount a seperate sub amp somewhere or should i go with a 5 or 6 channel amp... like a JL audio or an infinity audio one....

i dont know too much about stereos... any help would be greatly appreciated...

since you've already got your mids/highs amped, I'd suggest getting a seperate sub amp... but when you put the other sub in that factory enclosure, PLUG THE PORT!!!! a ported box is designed using the theile/small parameters of a particular sub and there is little room for error.... a sealed box could accomodate many different subs with different t/s param's...
