Default New here, and newly bought scion.

I'm new to all this, I just recently bought an 07 Scion tC, and I love it. But I have a question? I know I should have probably searched but I wan't a straight up answer. Is it possible to blow the stock speakers that are currently installed? And am I able to change the speakers in the tC?

Umm...its always possible to blow speakers. Turn your stereo to full blast with the bass and treble all the way up and have fun. You can put any brand of speaker you want in, just search for the right size. www.trdsparks.com sells an upgrade oem kit with an amp, you might want to check that out to.

Congrats on your purchase! As stated, you can blow the speakers. The tC actually has decent speakers for being stock. Yes, you can change the speakers out too. Here's a site that I like and trust; Crutchfield.com. Type in your vehicle and you're all set! Be sure to look over your manual. A lot of questions you might have can be easily answered by looking in the manual.

Also, there's LOTS of helpful people on this site! If you see a mod that interests you, PM that person and most likely they will help you out! Welcome to the site!

Hmm, after visiting trdsparks.com I see they dont sell that speaker upgrade anymore, sorry for the miss information. I agree with Hyghgynx to check out crutchfield.com. I've had good luck with them and they generally throw in free shipping or wiring harnesses.

Theyre good, just get the model numbers and buy for half off at ebay... but check feedbacks.
