yeah but i wasn't stating that as an issue at any point

 

alpine's the way to go i have 2 10" type-r's running off a 1000 watt mono alpine amp with a 1 farad capicitor. it slams hard and have never had any problems with them.

every custom job i have ever seen with 3 12"s or 3 10"s have had three amps and it was soo nice. there is a custom tc that has a custom build box three tens and three amps..its the hardest system i have ever heard in my life

i don't know why you would want 3 amps to power 3 subs. i'd rather have a single 1000 watts amp than have 3 300 watt amps. that just makes no sense and would be a mess.

take those 3 and then add a four channel to it and you'll have 4 amps.... why????? just why???

unless your running 3 4000 watt amps for spl burps why run run more than one amp for subs.

 

This is the crux of "advice" you read online. ANYONE can post information, but it doesn't make it accurate. The other issue is most people don't identify their opinion, when in fact it is. Don't post things you're uncertain about to someone asking for help. That does nothing but make the person asking confused...
