Default Nissan HID's with tc housing

ok, ive seen alot of threads about HID's being bad for your housing! Im wondering what type of HID kit the 06' Nissan Maximas' and Z have? They look effin awsome! Would that hurt my headlamps? I have luminics titanium white lows with luminics plug-n-play 9006 wire harness right now and i love they way they look! Ive gotten alot of compliments, i wanted to get a HID kit but i want the ones that the Nissans have! I cant seem to find out what type they have? Im thinking 6000K? Im probally going to be doing the retrofit thing later on down the road! LATER! if i can cough up about $1200 just for that! But for now i want something that will stand out, i really like the way the bulb turns on with it warming up changing colors and then turning off with no fadding, looks clean! Are ALL HID kits like that of certian ones? I dont like the cutoff line right now! Of course regular headlamps with no projectors will give you a ugly cutoff line, im not sure if it even gives you a cutoff line? s2000 projectors are the best ive seen out there! Let me know! thanks

ive done searches! NOTHIN!

Luminics came out with plug-n-play heavy duty wire harness since alot of people's stock wire harness fried cause of higher wattage from the bulbs, you can use this since the harness can handle more power and wont fry. Luminicsdirect.com has them, thats where i got them from, i got both high and low beam.

light output....no. As for looking like HID's, i think they do, i get alot of compliments on my Luminics Titanium white. Love the look and they are bright as hell! I had my girlfriend drive down the street and they look awsome! Pure blues are just blue, not as bright!

^^ who cares who is posting in whose section. Shut up and stop whining were all scions aren't we? This is an online community for scions which xBs and tCs both are. As for the nissan HID swap I forgot who makes them but I think it was by matishunda (sp?). You can pick up a few oem denso or hella kits on ebay for around 300 with 4300k. If you want 6000k bulbs you'll have to buy some and send them to the seller and have him rebase them for you in order for them to kit. Search "Denso HID conversion" on ebay. Xenondepot sells authentic phillips kits with the new GenIII ballasts which are super thin. Pretty cool actually check them out. www.xenondepot.com
