Default No sound

so i was wiring in a new amp into the stock headunit. Everything was working fine. i turned on the radio to make sure it was working well before i taped everything. I was just finishing taping and the bass hit pretty hard and then there was no sound.. at all..

I unhooked the amp completly out of the stock wiring harness to see if it was just the amp but there is no sound at all. The headunit turns on and everything but thats it? Any ideas what happened? Maybe its a fuse or something?

You did disconnect the batt before starting to install the amp right? And did you install a separate fuse for the Amp's power wire?

Hopefully you've just blown a fuse somewhere. Check all fuses (I'm not sure if the stock HU has a fuse located at its back side).

Or, your speakers maybe blown (???). I don't know how else to confirm it other than connecting another speaker to the existing speaker wires and see if any sound is produced. Good luck!
