Little update to my interior, with new silver shifter to match everything else. Also, my silver & Flint Mica Jada Toys sitting on the window sills:

matches the seats so well!

so heres the question... where can i buy the whole center dash piece to paint? I want to make sure I have a backup just in case> I plan on doing just a silver and black scheme, with the black in the middle, leaving the sides silver... plain and simple, but my silver has lots of scratches on the radio door and such. Any one with extras? Also, I had my lights all swapped to LEds, and i am wondering how people did the needles in a different color? I did all blue guages and hvac with all indicator lights red... again, plain and simple. any help would be much appreciated!

Do you think you will be able to find the entire hvac dash unit? I dont need the buttons for the hvac, the lcd screen and box, or any of that... I just want the silver/black "waterfall" dash that goes from the top vents in the center to the area at the bottom where the hvac buttons and **** are... i want to paint it. how much would it be? i also need this to include the cd player door cover as well. thanks... let me know!

car-part.com is your friend guys and gals. I have purchased multiple heater/ac control units (that is what to search for) on there. It is a link to salvage yards all over the country. 99% of the time you spend $50 - $75 for the HVAC and end up getting the whole upper console, because they dont realize how to take it all apart. Most just sell it as a whole unit. I dont have any spares I am willing to sell right now or I would offer them.

Just as a comparison, the HVAC alone is around $500 from the dealer.

Default DaveDave fitment issues

Davedave, I went through this thread again and noticed major fitment issues with the firmware cf dash, judging from your pics. I realized Jymes asked about a year ago and I didn't see a response. Does that stuff fit okay? That's the route I'd go.
And someone needs to post pics of their shaved dash if they've got it, as in, no more rice paper.
