Default Painted both door panels. I got a problem now.

So yea I painted both of my door panels black using Dupli-Color vinyl and fabric paint. It looks ok... Seems like even though I painted the whole piece, there are places in which gaps are left since they did not get painted over. Another thing is I cannot clean the door with any cloth because seems like the paint left a rough layer. Is it because I did not clear coat?

on the solid pieces (not cloth), you should use a ~400 grit paper and make it nice and smooth... then paint it again and sand it again... then sand it some more with a higher grit and clear... then sand and clear some more... then sand and sand and sand and clear some more... sand with ~800 at the end and buff it...

BTW: I'd never pain my own panels... have a professional take care of your dirty work...

I would say so! It would look really good as long as you do it right. You definately have to sand it down alot though.

Make sure you use clear coat, as paint has almost no shine to it. That is also why when you try to clean it the cloth just grabs the paint. Remember CLEARCOAT gives it the shine.

Why ask why...................it's his car not yours. He obvioulsy wanted it that way or he wouldn't have done it. I don't know why people that don't like something that another person has done to their car, feel the need to ask dumb questions. It's his car period If that came off harsh, that wasn't my intension. Just stating the facts.
