Hey guys, I recently installed an amp in my car, sounds great on my speakers, but when I removed the kick panel to route cables behind it, the clips stayed in the vehicle body instead of pulling out with the panel!

The clips are still intact, but it's hard to get a grip on them to yank them out. Any tips on removing the clips from the body?

 

Plyers, but don't pinch & break them.

 

I like to use a pair of wire crimp pliers to grab them and give them a pull.

 

wire cutters work pretty well.. use ur finger... or something else as a fulcrum n then just pull it out. oh btw.. don't squeeze it too hard or u'll cut it.

 

i use a pair of scissor to pry them out

 

I use a panel popper tool designed for removing those types of clips. Works great. I got one at Kragen for a few dollars.

 

ya use the tool made for taking those things out. Or you will break them. Plus they are like a dollar each.

 

I use needle nose pliers usually. I've broken so many of those things it's not even funny.
