Parking LEDs that DO NOT burn out in housing
I know there are a lot of failures with LEDs burning out in housings due to our halogen bulb and heat. So I was checking out autolumination.com and they have this new LED called "supernova" and it says:
Introducing the Super Nova
The Widest, Brightest and Best 194 168 W5W 2825 Ever Made!
Outfitted with the latest Super High-Flux low profile Leds.
Aluminum heat sink keeps them cool in hot & smaller housings to avoid heat related failure
Designed especially for gauges, and applications requiring extra cooling
12mm diameter x 23mm overall
Anyone know if these LEDs will work and not burn out or should I just save my money? I am running HIDs so the temperature in the housing does run cooler.
Thanks.

i'll let you know.
I have had this led bulb basically, without the heat sink for over 2 years now and they have never burned out so if mine haven't then the ones with the heat sink shouldn't. 2+years strong with the same LED bulbs in the housing and I do a lot of night driving and use silverstar ultra lights.
