Default Quick question about the AUX and connecting it to a cell

Since my Ipod was stolen out of my car... I'm trying to find an alternative.

What I want to do is buy the new LG Voyager:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/s...edPhoneId=3299

And an 8gb mSD card.

What cord and is it possible to use this as my MP3 player through the car using the ports..

any info is appreciated

its definately possible..the aux port in the will do teh job..the phone is the only concern i would have. if there is a port for a headset sometimes it is only mono and not stereo. I have a VZW Razor and it uses usb ports. so you have to buy their usb headphones.(but even then you could buy their headphones and splice a new connector to it..

of course, that one is newer and more devoted to music, so it may have a normal port for headphones..

i'd just stop by a VZW place and ask them more about the phone....

oh one other thing is that playing music on these phones can drain teh batt. fast so you may want to consider a car charger to keep it on when listening..

goodluk

if its a normal port then you'll just need a male-male 1/8" patch cable.....they're sold everywhere for the ipods..

that phone is pretty new, but i am sure that you can get an adapter t0 the 3.5 mm minijack size. i have used daydeal.com for the last 2 yrs and have had great success with them. prices are good to excellent, shipping usually free and orders delivered inabout 5 days

the tC factory input is 3.5mm. 2.5mm was popularized by the nokia cell phones of the late 90's early 2000's. 3.5 minijack only has input. make sure if you get an adapter that it has a built-in microphone. these adapters work pretty good. maybe a little better sound qual that BT.
