hey merc, i dont mean to insult your intelligence but most every car i work on the little SRS logo on the pillar (if there is one on ours) will pop off and there is a screw behind that. maybe the pillar will not be a one time use.

Again, just my thoguhts, not sure if our car is designed that way or not since i do not have the airbags

 

no it's no insult doug. if you say it can be reuse then i bet it can. that's just what the dealer top someone on here. I was going to try it anyway.

 

haha, yeah you never know. its worth a shot. im glad i didnt find out the way you did while im at work. i havent had a damge claim yet.

wow -where did you find the instructions to take off the dash?

 

I just start pulling the dash and undoing bolts. honestly it's kind so simple

So what did the one in the seat do?

 

it ripped the seam and came out. Those pics were taken after I rolled them back into their places (where they should be) and drove home. LOL

 

what do they look like?

 

To remove the A pillar, all I do is pull on it from the top and then the bottom? I want to put a tweeter in the A pillar, is it easy to run a wire from the A pillar to the kicks?

That happened about a year ago when my car was only a couple months old. No the passenger one didnt deploy. And, no it wasnt totaled. It's a funny story actually. I slammed my door shut in the middle of an argument with my boyfriend. They covered everything in my warranty though. So everything is good.
