I have one running a 10W7 and I've had no problems thus far.

It also runs pretty cool, especially when compared to my JL 300/4.

Default pg amp

ah hell i,m going to get the xs4600 fixed and use it. these older pg amps are still rock solid pieces. might upgrade to a soundsplinter 12 ,though!

I agree. The older PG amps are great. I actually went out of my way to find new old stock Tantrum amps for my tC install. They're solid, well-built, have relatively small footprints and they have great features (18db x-over, twin t-bass, subsonic filter, rmd remote and low-pass remote). Having 18db of bass boost at your fingertips is a warm and fuzzy feeling.

do you have any preference between silk or titanium tweeters? are you looking to beef up your mid-bass? i've never heard the JLs so i'm not too sure what their output and overall quality is like.

the JL's always seem to be on the bright side.. like your highs are really loud... are they amped?? cause if you are running them off a deck... they are slightly underpowered and will make a world of difference when amped...
