A pillar piece

Hey I have an 08 so I have the curtain air bags in my a pillars. How do I remove them, can I just pry them off or will the bags deploy?

the a-pillars will come off with a strong yank.. however there is a one-time use clip installed to prevent the a-pillar from flying off when the air bag deploys... and it's pretty strong.

you can take them off sure... and the air bag won't deploy... but putting them back on right might be an issue.
