Default In need of assistance...

Im looking to change out and add a lot of new LED's in my '07 tC. Could someone please help me and answer the following questions?:

1. How many PLCC-2 LED's will I need if I want to change out my guage and HVAC? I want it to be White guage numbers, Warning lights and all HVAC lights and Green needle and turn signals.

2. Is there anything else besides the LED's i am going to need?

3. How long should the wire be for installs on my cup holders and ac vents?

4. I have a HID kit already installed for my headlights but I noticed that there is another small light that is still Amber. Does anyone know what that is or what size it is so I can change it out?

5. Does anyone know a installer for these modifications in Hawaii (Oahu)? Otherwise I may have to resort to my friend that does some mods....

i believe that you need 58 or so leds total and a handfull of resistors for the hvac.

as for the cupholder you need as much wire as it takes to run to a switch and from there to a power source maybe 6 to8 feet

amber light is gonna be your courtesy light take it out and bring to a parts store they will tell yea! cant remember off hand

hope this helps!

led swappers chime in at anytime if i missed something!

im not any kind of exprt, but ive read on here that if you are going to swap out LED's on your own you will need a soldering iron and some basic knowledge of soldering.

typically about 15 leds for the gauge minus the warning lights.. so add 1 led for each warning light (2 for the cruise control)

and then about 14 leds for the hvac including the temp ****... (there's 1 led per button (9 total there), 3 in the lcd, and 2 at the top of the temp **** people usually change out..)

but there's also the airbag and seatblet stuff which are also just 1 led each.

i believe there is someone on the island capable.. there's a few scion guys on oahu... i'd have to ask.

the only problem i have heard of which would sway me from an hvac on an 07 is that stock the led's or the hvac can go out so if you swap it then toyota wont warranty it...FYI
correct me if im wrong
