A few things I don't like. The the likes out weight the dislikes. So it's all good.
I guess you lose the steering wheel controls without the steering wheel module.
Color match the switches and all.
Need my steering wheel control module.

Why the D3? It was half the price. The other ones are either flip out. I don't like.
The higher models just remember most taken paths. I mean what's the point if it's most taken and you take them over and over. You already know that route.
Unless someone borrowed your car. But you know that won't happen. We hear the horror stories.
They also have a 10gig HD. Who needs that space, Just buy a iPod.
Price of D3 + iPod is far less than the higher end ones.

Scionizer07 has the best price on them. Send him a pm. That's who I bought mine from. Great guy. Drove over an hour to do my install for me. Great work.

I also recently installed boyo rear view license plate camera (didnt get mine through crutchfield)

love my unit and made my trip to Alabama lot easier with my video ipod (family guy ftw!)

can't beat the unit for its price though (crutchfield deal)

 

Let's just say I got a better deal that what crutchfield will ever give someone.

Can't say. But what I do know is. They are out there for $900 installed. Wiring harness and mounting kit all included. So if you are on the East Coast and drive over here. It'll be $900 installed.

 

Crutchfield was offering 850 for the d3 with 15% off coupon plus a lot of other free stuff in their promotion that you could of sold and the cost of the d3 would be about 650-700 depending how much you sold the other stuff.

How does the bluetooth thing sound? Does it come with a mountable mic? Do people on the other end of the line complain of too much background noise?

Is it worth it?

 

Sounds as good as my phone does. its obviously not cd quality and when you play it amplified over speakers its not perfect, but certainly as good as phone qaulity can get ya. Yes it has a mountable mic. and ive had no complaints thus far. most people cant tell im not using my phone. too me it was worht the $150 i paid since i got it with 15% off deal through crutchfield and that fact that its all integrated make it even nicer.

 

LaydDly, OK, so why is your traffic button lit? You have NavTraffic? I see the Sirius, but wheres the XM for the navtraffic? Fill me in. I've done numerous D3's and haven't messed with the traffic options yet.

 

its programmable to take me to my traffic station. well actually any station. it was lit out of box, but i have set it to my traffic station on sirius. its a nice feature so i dont have to waste a preset.
