Did you buy the unit used?

If so the original owner may have used an ESN disc to lock the unit.

Eclipse radios have this so if they are stolen they will not work. Anytime the power is cut off from the unit and then repowered the unit will sk for this disc.

If you are the original owner and dont remember using the ESN or dont have the disc you may have to send it in to Eclipse and have it reset

btw an ESN disc is usually a cd. It has to be the exact cd though

I love ESN when you have the disc but it sucks when you dont have it or lose it

If it were me, I'll be honest... this is what I would do. It would take a while, but, it may just be worth it. I would go through each and everey cd I have in my cd case just to be sure I didn't accidently activate the feature with a different cd... I know this may be unrealistic if you have 1000+ cd's, but I guess it depends on how much you need this. If you didn't register with Eclipse, I doubt they're going to unlock it without a reciept, along with serial number verification on the reciept. Hopefully you have all of this. Good luck getting it unlocked!
