Default Popping subs

Recently my subs have been popping constantly, started about a week ago and it wasn't much but progressively got worse over time. They did this for a little while about a year ago when I took my power window buttons out, but stopped right after I plugged the buttons back in. I've got a pretty crappy ground for the subs and might have gotten knocked loose, could that cause the woofers to pop?

Mine started popping too - turns out one of the wires from the cone to the terminal came disconnected. So it could be something physically wrong with the speaker and you might have to pull them out to see for sure.

check your source/signal cables running to the amp. i thought i blew one of my pioneer's because it would intermittently work and make loud pop noises...i almost went through the trouble of pulling teh speaker out but i noticed that cables had acquired a bad connection at the connector ends..

its worth checking before you go through extra trouble

goodluck!
