Push to Start
#21
the S2000 is sweet....but I just cant help but like the light up thing.
I also really dont see why its such a big deal to still have to use the keys, it really never bugs me. When I was driving around the other day with the button out trying to find the right bulb, everytime I went to start my car I reached down out of habit to start the car lol.
I also figure the time it takes to move your hand from turning the key to ON to pushing the button is a nice few seconds for all the electronics to fire up

I don't know if this would help any one with their install, but I think I know an easier way to wire the push to start button, at least for people that have python/viper remote starts. Theres a trigger wire that comes off of the remote start brain for turbo timers. So you can wire that to the switch and the other side of the switch to ground, so your essentially triggering your remote start.
You'll still have to put your key in and turn it, but it beats all of the relays and what not, its just two wires.

that wire does not start the car. It simply activates the turbo timer/manual transmission remote start for when you're getting out of the car. If you press the button then the car will stay running when you take the key out, and shut down when you lock the doors/turbo timer expires. If the car is off and you press the button nothing happens but an error tone.
