anyone know how to get the lid off of that box? i overfilled it with spare change and i think i got some change stuck in the little hole for the lid and now it barely opens now. can anyone help?

 

i did the same exact thing... all i did was take the center console apart by removing it around the shifter and then the cup holders just pop right out.. flip it upside down and then open the little door to the coin holder and the coins should fall out

 

thanks for that, but now i have another problem, i pooped the top open and got the change out. it was like more than 1 dollar!. but now when i put the top back on, it has lost its ability to snap open and shut like before. any advise on this??? im having some trouble with it

 

maybe you messed up the spring or something..... check that out and maybe you can bend it back in the place if it's messed up

 

where might i locate the spring? i can barely see anything inside there
