Hello all. New guy here to the forums. Got a Scion Tc 06 and decided to install a Air filter intake, probably the injen one.

Now.. I could probably buy it from Ebay, save myself some money.
I talked to the Scion people and they want me to get their parts so they can install it..

If I bring em something to install and they screw up or something, they said they would charge me double for uninstalling it...

So how would I go around possibly me installing this air intake filter. Do I see any void in warrenty or anything. Any help would be much obliged. TIA.

 

DIY brotha, save the money. Dealer WAY too expensive. CAI is easy enough anyways and if you have any problems, just do a search for some help. Depending on where you live you might even find someone willing to meet up with you and give you a hand...for a small fee (translation: maybe a few beers, if old enough.) HAHA
