Radio cover not closing any ideas?

Default Radio cover not closing any ideas?

Hey guys I have a 07 TC just bought it not sure why i cant seem to close the radio cover.....i am sure its not motorized but its just stuck ....i hate the rattle it gives when its open please if someone will let me know what can be done.

hmmm mine's pretty beat up, but it never rattles.

you'rs might be broken... take out the waterfall and give it a looksie

did u try taking out the waterfall and then looking at the radio cover?

Sometimes instead of simply pushing the cover down to close, you have to pull out and down on it. Sometimes.

Also, I don't think I've heard of it rattling when open - just some squeaks. You might want to pull it off anyway and have a look like was mentioned.

give it to your delarship. it happened to mine. they fixed it in like 15 min the factory springs they use are horrible its under warranty

this happened to me when i took the waterfall off to plug in my rca's into the stock headunit.

turns out, when i took it out, i must have shut it improperly or something, cuz the gears and little spring on one side weren't lined up properly.

yank the waterfall back out and check the gears and springs on both sides - make sure they look the same.
