Default rain spots on seat...anyone else

hey i have noticed that there are spots on my seat where the rain hit it in the drive through the outher day has any one else had a problem with this let me know i would also like to know if anything gets this out thanks

Mine has the same thing. On the outsides of the front seats, and on the head rest of the back seats from opening the hatch... it's annoying, and I haven't figured out how to rid myself of them.

Just use a damp sponge and clean the seats with it. Don't rub, but push the sponge on the seats.

The water marks are actually dirt that is in the seat and raises up whenever water hits it.

Do a search, you'll find all kinds of topics on this.

I had those. I sprayed the areas with a mild upholstry cleaner and used my shop vac to extract the solution back out. The spots have not returned.

I had em. I thought they were sun spots but they arent there no more. I dont know where they went.

some lady in my city had the same problem and she got it under warranty, she said they thought she was dumb but she demanded new seats! Wish was granted!

anyone tried scotch gaurding it? i heard the guy at the dealership saying some people do it to thier interiors

yeah (agreeing with above) all you have to do is get them wet with a sponge and dry (don't allow to air dry, use a towel to manually dry them).. i think the seat covers are made of polyester and they react to water.. or dirt.. funky.. but the fix is simple..

hey guys i just found out by accident that armoral protectant wipes takes the spots out

I have the same spots, I just shampoo my seats and carpet once a month and they look like new.

Default Spots that looked like stains

I thought my seat was iirrepairably damaged with stains. White Stains, I thought they were places that my seat was worn but in fact it was salt from sweat. Wet cloth and 10 minutes later it was like new.
