ok guys im currently installing my system and everything is all done but now i need to tap my remote wire from the amp to the back of the headunit. I have the factory upgraded pioneer one. many say its the blue wire with the gray spots, and some say its the gray wire. can someone please help me verify which plug it is and what color wire?

Its usually the blue with grey dots, if you have a tester u can see once the radio is powered on that wire should get 12 volts to send a signal to the amp.

 

on the pioneer it may have a tag on it. if not it's blue

 

damn so its blue youthink? i dont have a tester

 

if it's a factory unit i don't think it would have one. You could possibly use the red one. it's the turn on wire for the head unit itself
