there my be a post already, may not..but for those of you with a roof rattle there is a TSB on it. thought id mention it cuz mine did it from day one so my boss approved it and i just did it today..so for those in warrenty with the rattle take it in..you need 4 spot welds on the roof and foam pads...thought id put some FYI sorry if its a repost

OOOHHHHH you mean the frickin hamster that lives in my headliner that makes me want to burn the friggin car down to the rims.. THAT rattle!

Out of warranty, so it's going to:

A) Take ripping the headliner apart and spray foaming anything that walks upright
B) Never buying another Scion again as long as I live

its the rattle in the roof when the sunroof is open...yea it sucks its not too bad you can do it yourself..but i hear you...the scion has a lot of squeaks and rattles...the front d.seat squeak ____ed me off....thats another like a high pitched chearp on bumps...but i love the car now that it doesnt do the roof rattle.....its an 07

 

I'm not sure if mine actually is the same problem - it is also with the sunroof open and rattles a little when I go over bumps. When was the TSB issued? My car is an 08 and I wasn't sure if they might have corrected it in the factory.

 

i don't even notice it sometimes now and if i do thank god for sound systems with volume control
