Im going to be buying a vinyl kit for my scion tc dash/interior, but im having a hard time deciding between matte black or carbon fiber?

I was leaning toward CF, but would would carbon fiber look ricer? Because it wont be actual CF, just a vinyl that looks like it. Btw my car flint mica, so im only going to be choosing a dark color.

^^^like he said if you are going to go with vinyl go with black. im not big on vinyl in the interior i tried it when i first got the tc and didnt really look good at all. ever think about painting the dash pieces?

 

I really want to see what the matte black will look like, because I have a bsp and wanted to do either black/matteblack/ or white interior.

 

i actually have painted the waterfall area and didnt come out good. and i dont really have the time to re-do it so im gonna go with the vinyl.

yea i mean the vinyl doesnt look terrible. the matte black might not look all that bad. def would like to see pics of it when you get it on.

 

CF and black are both cool. go with ever one your leaning towards most.

IMO- CF is sick. but black would be a cooler like more aggresive look.

 

well for pic ref. here is a pic of the cf vinyl from customtc.com just the center pieces. i didnt like it to be honest. i think if it was matte black it would have def. looked better. this is a older pic i have since then took it off. to me i like the vinyl being there just the cf look looks to fake. i think the matte black would def look better then the cf.

but on another note if you wanted to do cf. every think abotu going with a real cf dash kit? like this one i mean sure it cost more but it is real. just throwing that out there lol.

yeah vinyl Cf is no good, in fact you will most likely get flamed pretty bad. Wo w/ the black or the Scion kit.

 

check out 3m di-noc...that stuff works well

 

black; i had the cf stuff back before i found the actuall full carbon fiber over lay (which that didnt stay on long) and it was definately cheap looking
