Default Seat Brackets

Has anyone used these? I just picked up a pair of sparco's with sliders and brackets for a mustang and was looking for a bracket base for the tc. If not any suggestions where to get brackets for a reasonably price?

Brackets are not really cheap. They should be fine though - you may just want to verify if that is for ONE bracket or for a pair.

Yeah, I as searched I realized they are not cheap at all!

I am just concerned with quality (weld holding and what not). If those are 100 a pair (which I got to check) and hold up the same, I'd rather save the money I'd spend on sparco brackets (220 for a pair).

I wonder how hard it would be to have the mustang brakets I have modified. I guess they would cut off existing tabs and weld new ones. Maybe it would be less overal?

wedengineering sells good brackets but you'd still have to modify them abit to fit sparco seats as well as any other seats. your better off going with the sparco brackets since they are made to fit/work with their seats.

Well think about it... would you want modified brackets of unknown quality/hold in the seat you're riding in or someone else is riding in should something happen to go wrong?

i had wedengineering on nrg seats and they held up find and didn't have any problems with them, switched to nrg brackets and i must say those are lower than the wed brackets but haven't had a single issue with the seat rocking around or the sliders jamming.
