Shift Knob Burns Me Daily!
I'm gonna be crotchety for a second: Why would you keep burning yourself on something you know is hot without, you know, covering it or something? I'm pretty sure they do experiments like this on lab animals.
And that custom shift **** has to be one of the most uncomfortable and ugly looking ***** I've ever seen.

That xD would look amazing if it's accents weren't wood. I love that raised center console.

Or why not go ***** to the wall and have it actually done over in some fancy cured dark wood? That would be epic if you machined a waterfall from a block of wood. It's just going to look cheap and tacky if you don't go big with it.
i would get new water fall peices and have them airbrushed in case it didnt look right in the car i could use my stock ones, plus the shop i know does excellent air brush work, and has two of the sickest air brushed xb's

Can't really tell, but I keep one of those Scion cloth wristbands on the shift boot, and just slide it up if the shifter is too hot. The new shift **** doesn't get anywhere near hot enough to need the wristband though.

just save up another week for the doc iso one. so many style choices you can't go wrong. mucho better than my aluminum one. he can add weight to them as well, but it really isn't necessary if you have a nice short shift kit and bushings.
