yup, have it on feel still not good enough. for comparing sake my friend has a 10 inch 1000 watt sub and it gives me ahead ache so i dont want much just enough i guess to feel it on the back while driving. and i guess my main question is if its good for the money? i dont have much of a budget so spending 200 bucks on a system is a no no

well just cause of its Audiovox im not too big on that brand for car stuff, as to how it will sound i cant guaranty the lowend. honestly, if your trying to save space and fits the way you describe, my friend has the OEM one (bazooka) and it sounds pretty well and fits niceley into the corner. but as for that audiovox, esspecially since its rampage.. i wouldnt trust it too much. if anything, save up and buy a good set up. because at least then, though you may spend a little bit more than what you expected, you are able to fully tune (i.e. low pass filters, and a better control on gain) your sound to what you would like. not to mention with an 8" woofer you wont get a good lower end as a 10 would. your friend runs 1000 watts, which is even way too much for me. lol. im running 400 and i still keep my deck at -5 for bass. maybe a 200 watt will work for you. but yeah over all, i say pass on the audiovox, save up, and you pay for the quality and flexibility =].

here are some pics of my set up for some ideas . i have a 12 in sub. you can also just stash your amp the same way i did (saying it fits).

and here is my trunk

hope this helps! =]

I'd probably pass on that as well...

Check out Elemental Design's EU-700's... it's a mean little 6.5" subwoofer. go to www.edesignaudio.com and look around.

If you're looking to save on cargo space, check out the Infinity Basslink. You're not going to shake the car next to you at the red light, but it hit's pretty hard for what it is. Here's a pic...

I've heard a few people say some great things about the Kenwood KSC-SW1. It's made to go under a seat or somewhere similar and will add a nice amount of bass to a system. May want to look into it...

I know its a completely different car but ive got one of the audiovox's in the back of my xb. Not extremely impressed simply because the spec sheet warrants its should have a little more kick than it does. Overall though i paid $40 for it on ebay and its deffinitly worth $40. Its smaller than the bazooka in size so it fits nicely. The sound is comparable to a really nice factory sub in say a monsoon sound system. Not gonna rattle the windows but it really fills in all the low end spots nicely. But again this is in my xb, Subs always sound much better in an open hatchback area. Hopefuly this was helpful.

there's ANOTHER SSP "trick".

hold the button down until it beeps, then use the volume **** to choose between tC, xA, and xB settings. xA hits the best in my opinion.

That would be an "LOC" or Line Output Converter.
If the amp you select has both hi & lo level inputs, then you won't require an LOC.
