side air vent removal
im trying to put some leds in the side air vents, and i did a search on here, and found a few people saying just slide the leds into their from under it, and some people say i have to drill a hole. is there a way to actually remove the side air vents? or any easier way to stick leds into the side vents?
as far as i know, your can just slide them up from the bottom. Some people have drilled in there. You just need a long extension bit and patience. You need to remove the glove compartment first and then the fuse and wiring panels on the drive side to reach up in there. It is possible to drill though. I've seen it before without removing the vents. The center ones are much easier. I had all my vents done before but have since removed all the LEDs from them. But i do beleive the vents come out with some tugging. Not to sure though. I saw someone who had theres out and painted them white and then snapped them back in. Good luck.
this has been covered, do a search... they both pop out from behind, pop out the switch plate on the drivers side (pull the little peice of the dash below it off, the push out from behind), stick ur hand in there and push.... open glovebox on passengers side, stick ur hand in the little crack between the top of the glovebox and the dash, and push.... ur done
