Default So there are these two bolts...

If you look at where your spare tire is, to the right of that there is a big styrofoam block, take that off and look right where the back of the rear passenger seat is. There are two bolts there that I'd like to use for ground; however, they are EXTREMELY TIGHT!!!

Should I try loosening one up? What do these go to and do I need to tighten it back to a specific torque???

Thanks alot!

The 2 bolts are from the rear seatbacks. You can loosen them, but like you said, they're on tight. Not sure about torque specs, I'll look it up when I get home.

Are they the 2 silver nuts? Those are the rear strut nuts, adn they are also very tight. I used one of those to ground my amps. Working fine thus far.

How tight did you tighten it? And where can I find torque specs?

Ok it says they are at 59 ft-lbs... What will happen if I remove one, put it back on and make it as tight as I can :}

I have no torque wrench

Make it TIGHT. 59 lb-ft is pretty tight. Just make it nice and tight and you won't have to worry.

yeap iam using those for grounding as well. I tested it with a volt meter. Very little resistance! So it works great for grounding.
