^^When you're done with your car, you can do mine. I have been thinking of doing this for a while. I guess I'll do it the next time I go on vacation. Was there any tough spots encountered when you removed the interior? Please post pix when you can.

ahhh - the pics are pretty small ...i cant really see them. can you make them bigger? I am looking to strip my car apart also - next month I think thats what im going to do. Im still wondering about the audio though - I figured I should do the audio while the entire car is gutted.

Man I really want to do this to my interior, but I can't sacrifice my daily driver/only car I have. I don't have any other car to drive to work. =P

Maybe if I just do it all in sections...

You can do it all and still drive it stripped down... I took two days and drove it home with just the shifter ****, the driver's seat and seatbelt hooked up.... worked just fine!

Nope, it doesn't. It's a butyl based mat so it is heavier and more dampening than asphault based mats. It also doesn't have the smell!

YOu know, I haven't rode in another car, or driven another car since I purchased my tc a couple of months ago. My friend messed up her lease jetta, and now she has a 2006 sedan civic. And after riding in her car and getting back in mine. I was like how come its so loud in here and how come I hear every rock on the road that I just rolled over in the wheel wells.....

Its loud in this car. This is a great idea.........and I wouldn't mind doing this too! I'm not in to working on cars..........but man. Its noisy and echoy compared to other cars..........when you finish this project tell everyone the difference in the sound.

This is a great ideal but does it really make things better. I remember at the dealership, they said don't put a power undercoating on the car because it will void the warranty, I wonder if this falls in to the same catagory

It makes a HUGE difference.... My WHOLE tC is deadoned per RAAMaudio's instructions and the rear side panels are so loud stock, it's not even funny.... there is no sounddeadoning in the tcs rear panels at all... it's just the outside of the car and the interior panels.... really echoey.

I can attest to the fact that there is no smell at all...

I love how dynamat cost as much as a cheap head unit or component speaker set. That stuff better be golden for that price!

That said, i'd certainly like to do the same thing as the OP. I just don't have the $$$, time, or motivation...

i was going to do this over my winter break in december but i never got a final decision between raam mat and edead v2. What do people have to say about these. Also, the heat resistance matters to me. I live in bakersfield, ca and it gets hot out here.

RAAMmat ranks up there pretty nice in comparison tests.... I haven't had any heat issues, but I also live in Oregon...

Definately a must do.
Word! I also did my box with RAAMat and Ensolite foam and the difference was night and day. I feel like I am in a Lexus -- without the payments, of course. Also, Rick was incredibly helpful and avaialable to answer my questions as I stumbled through the install. Great product, great resource, and great results.
