Definately a must do.
Word! I also did my box with RAAMat and Ensolite foam and the difference was night and day. I feel like I am in a Lexus -- without the payments, of course. Also, Rick was incredibly helpful and avaialable to answer my questions as I stumbled through the install. Great product, great resource, and great results.

let me know - i need feedback on how much to get. i was quoted:

1 - roll BXT RAAMmat
4 - yards ensolite foam
2 - cans adhesive

I need to know if that is too little for making it right. or is that the right amount of substances needed.

for those of you who used RAAMmat, did you also use the ensolite foam on top of the mat everywhere? or just in specific areas with high road noise?

I did 4 doors (both interior and exterior), the hatch, and the floor from the where the passenger's butts would be sitting (approximately) to the very rear of the car, and of course the rear wheel wells and sides. I used one roll of RAAMat plus about 6 extra feet, and probably 4 yards of foam. You can use the foam liberally cuz it's cheap. I also used one piece of 24" x 48" piece of .032 aluminum for covering the access panels in the doors. The metal cost about $15.

I think two rolls of RAAMat would do the whole car, and do it quite thoroughly. 4 yards of foam is probably plenty, 5 to be safe.

I did. It's cheap, and easy to put on, so why not? I put two layers in a lot of places (like the front doors).

Above, someone mentioned one roll of RAAMat, four yards of foam and two cans of adhesive. I'd say that's about right, but if another $99 is not a big deal to you (and you plan on doing interior and exterior door skins, floors, etc., I'd spring for a second roll of RAAMat.

Use the foam over the RAAMat. on all cockpit interior surfaces (You know, between the plastic interior covers or carpeting and the raamat on the doors, floors, wheel wells, etc.), and put a couple layers behind your speakers.

Here is Rick's GUIDE TO INSTALLING RAAMmat: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=92557

I'm feeling more and more the need for this modd! I'm so jealous when I ride in other cars and, I dont here the dirt and pebbles popping around in the wheel well's when pulling out a parking lot onto a street! You know the side part of the road that nobody rides on that has all the little pebbles that are pushed off from most on-going daily traffic. Well if you don't merger right on and you have to ride on the shoulder a while,?????????????? huh? Pebble noises all in the wells.

Are there any shops that offer this around San Jose, CA? I work crazy hours and wouldn't have time to do it myself.

If other manufacturers can build "quiet" cars at a reasonable price, why not Toyotta? I went through all this with a Land Cruiser back in the late 60's. Are you listening Toyotta?
