does anybodies enclosure rattle real bad? i put a bunch of sound deadner down and it still rattles. any suggestions? also could put some deadner on the bottom of the box?

The only rattles I have on mine are from the cover. It should alread have a layer of edead on the bottom. I did edead my whole hatch area as well. The license plate still rattles a little as well.

 

Try running the box w/o the floor cover and see if you still hear rattling. On medium volume I don't hear any rattling but once it gets louder the floor cover rattles when the sub hits. I also noticed that my muffler heat shield rattles.

 

There should be a layer of V4 under the box. Let me know if you didn't get one for some reason.

 

when you get the sq10 enclosure do you need to cut part of the floor cover to give the sub room to hit?

 

^thats what i did to mine. i have the sq10 sub but i made my own box svery simmilar to the ED box and it did help.

 

does it help stop the rattling?

 

it does help a bit but when the amp is tuned up it still bangs a bit but you cant really hear it while in the car only when the hatch is open and you are standing right on top of it.
