Hey everyone,

Newbie here. I just got my brand spankin new '06 scion tc yesterday. I've been trying to test out the steering wheel controls for the volume and radio control. It doesn't respond at all.

Am I missing something? Do I need to program the buttons or bring the car back to the dealership?

Did you get teh option security installed? I thought I read somewhere on this site that might have cause the problem..Call your dealer.

 

dealer probably forgot to hook up the steering wheel control harness on the back of the radio.. some dealers have been doing this, guess some don't have a clue..

 

Yeah, I did have Scion security installed. I'm going to bring it by the dealership.

yea, if its not lighting up, the harness is proly not hooked up. I did that the other day when i put my subs in. my bad.
