Default Steering Wheel Question

I have the stock Scion tC steering wheel, not the fancy 300 dollar leather one. Lately, im not sure whether its caused by sun damage or something, but the edges are starting to crack and peel and leave these little white cracks. The question I have is, would that be under warranty (im at 15k), and if not, does anyone have a suggestion of finding a snug fit/stock looking leather cover (not one of those Pepboys ones). Ive heard pretty good things about wheelskins (http://www.wheelskins.com) . If theyre junk, anyone have an estimate of how much it would cost to get it perf leather wrapped? Thanks

You can just try to take it to the dealer... you've really got nothing to lose except time

and in the best case scenario, you'll get a new wheel... seems like a good deal to me
