So i had a 6 disc HU, but ended up not using it. I sold it to a guy. I forgot there was a CD in the unit and now after he installed the unit he gets a "full message" and when he presses eject nothing comes out.

Anyone had this problem before and anything he can do to fix it?

This sort of thing happened to my friend's Envoy the other day while we were on a roadtrip. All of a sudden the HU shut off, and now there's a cd stuck in the unit and the Eject button does nothing. The only thing I could think of is to disconnect then reconnect the battery while the HU is hooked up. This should reset the HU. Not sure if it will work or not, but that's the advice I gave him...maybe it will work for your guy.

 

i heard somewhere there is a code for the headunit or something? is tht ture?
