Default Stuck Replacing my Steering Wheel... Not anymore!

Hey guys, so I'm trying to install my new NRG setup I just picked up, but I can't seem to get this connector off. I am trying to remove the piece with the yellow sticker, but how do I go about removing that? I tried to pry it off, but it was just stuck on there. I didn't want to break anything, so I haven't touched it since. Any feedback would help me greatly. Even in this pic, I don't know how he removed those clips that are just hanging. Mine are still connected to the steering wheel. Thanks!

if that little piece of metal is in hte middle is holding it on,

and they are the same as the ones that hold the stero,

i used a drill, and a drill bit, and drilled the ____ outt it until the top just snapped off.

or a dremel, that would be easier.

that whole plastic circle with the wire hanging out of it is the steering wheel's clock spring if that's what you're trying to take off.... you have to remove that top plastic cover on the column and if you look around the clock spring it should just be held in place by tabs... if not then look around for screws holding it in.... as far as that wiring harness if it connects into the clock spring try pushing the connector all the way in first then push the release tab and try pulling it out

After u remove all the wire Plugs (bottom) that piece just pulls off. U gotta pull HARD tho. Its only held in by clips.

looks nice but seems like you struggled a few times but seems well worth it. let us know if it feels different driving around with it and did you compare it to the stock one in weight wise?

Congrats on getting it put in. I also had some issues when I installed mine but overall it wasn't to difficult. BTW, the pic in your first post is sweet! lol.

yeah it's an NRG wheel. i like it. i have seen some of the momo wheels, and they are nice and all, i just don't like some of the styles. i got the whole setup for a good price, so i can't complain. it's feels real good, and the look is awesome. i just don't like the fact i lost my cruise control and my turn signals don't turn off automatically anymore.

thanks bro. it was a little bit of a PITA, but for my first time, I will say it went well. And for the first pic, I think that actually might be yours. When I did a search on how to install the steering wheel, this came up. And this was the point where I was at. So if I borrowed your pic... Thanks!
