sub/enclosure question... please read please help
I have a 250w amp that will push my single sub...
would a 10" sub that handles 250w sound ANY different than
a 12" sub that handles 250w that is the same brand and class? (memphis PR104 or PR124)

My specs for enclosure say this....
1.00 cu ft / 1.50 cu ft
Use left value for lower power handling and the right for greater power handling....
this is for sealed enclosures.....well my sub handles 250rms and the amp puts out 250....so what would yall do?
1.00 or 1.50????

what size sealed enclosure are the 10" and 12" supposed to be in? if both subs are in their correct enclosures the 12" should play a little lower and give you a little more bass. I personally like to have a little more bass than needed because I could always turn the bass down.

the left number is for minimum airspace with greater power handling...
the right number is for optimum airspace with less power handling...

Smaller box > power handling, less low end.
Larger box < power handling, more low end.
This is just mechanical power handling....basically, larger box, sub moves farther, easier to bottom. 250W is probably thermal handling.
I'd probably but it in a box right in the middle, give it 250, and it'll be good.
